Pilates/Yoga/Stretching

LO Solutions proudly serves clients with more than just your typical workouts. Using Pilates and yoga techniques, Lila takes the whole person into account - often assisting in the healing process of past injuries, and preventing new ones along the way.


Pilates: I discovered Pilates in October of 2003 and by February of 2006, I had become fully certified to teach mat and equipment Pilates through Core Dynamics Pilates and Pilates Method Alliance (PMA). I am also certified to teach the Fletcher Towel work  - you'll be amazed at what this little red towel, along with the proper percussive breathing can do for your entire body, mind and core.  Pilates is truly a full body workout and not just about "the core"....but don't take my word for it, come find out!


Yoga: I began regularly practicing yoga in August of 2006, and first fell in love with how this could be a cardio and weight bearing workout when practiced properly. Somewhere along the way it started lengthening my bulkier weight trained muscles, and stretching and calming my mind to new capacities. I quickly realized there was so much more to yoga than just asanas (postures).  My passion to continue to practice yoga with correct alignment, and for more than just the outer physical benefits, led me to enroll in Amrita Sanctuary's Teacher Training program in the fall of 2008. I am thrilled about this personal journey I have embarked upon and strongly believe we all need our life long teachers and lessons- this is just one of mine along my journey of change!
